Rosenberger OSI
As a product manager at Rosenberger-OSI, I combined product and market responsibility with leadership responsibilities: for a time, I headed product management and marketing, and later, I was responsible for complexity management. Optimizing the ERP-supported quotation process made sales processes more efficient, and digitizing product data maintenance enabled the seamless creation of product passports. Using methods such as Jobs-to-be-Done (for example, the Patch Location Rack), I specifically aligned innovations with customer needs – resulting in successful market launches and measurable efficiency gains.
Knürr / Emerson Network Power / Vertiv (2005–2019)
During my 14 years at Knürr, Emerson Network Power, and later Vertiv, I significantly shaped the development of data center infrastructure solutions – from power distribution and cabling to monitoring and security systems. As Global Product Manager, I was responsible for international OEM projects, lifecycle processes, and interdisciplinary teams.
Highlights included the introduction of intelligent PDU and rack monitoring solutions, the establishment of an OEM design as an industry standard, and close collaboration with cloud providers and automotive OEMs. I also took on solution management and global sales support.
The result: solid experience in global product development, portfolio and lifecycle management, and customer-focused systems integration—competencies that I now bring to my consulting work for B2B companies.
At LightPointe, as Product Manager EMEA, I was responsible for the market launch of wireless optical point-to-point radio systems – from market analysis and product definition to international sales launch. I led project-related teams, managed key accounts such as Deutsche Telekom and EMC², and actively participated in international standardization committees.
Successes included the development of the bestseller FlightStrata, the market launch of the world's first FlightLight100 with PoE and the development of modern website marketing with SEO and PPC.
The result: many years of experience in successfully establishing innovative high-tech products in the market – practical, customer-oriented, and internationally compatible.
In my early professional positions – as a consultant at Brain Trust, product manager at Controlware, and previously as a communications engineer at Deutsche Post/Telekom – I laid the foundation for my current work: customer proximity as a guiding principle.
Whether in technical implementation, consulting, or product management, the focus has always been on how solutions create real added value for customers. This early focus on customer centricity continues to shape my approach today: Technology is not an end in itself, but must address concrete needs and have a lasting impact.
